1. 'Twas a good movie
I'm not usually into SciFi movies but it was worth it(mostly because it wasn't full of itself and didn't take itself so seriously...very nice)

Too bad it was a flash in the pan, lol. Stupid attention span of the american movie goer...

2. Quite. The American populace is a giant gaggle of grinning gonads.
Try saying that when inebriated...

liked that much better. IMHO, they didn't translate the story well to the large screen.

4. I watched a series by that name on the Sci Fi channel.
Recently... I wanted more, the shows were too cool. I was unaware of this movie. If those shows were based on this then I must and shall see it at some point.

6. Those shows were the original series; Serenity coming out thanks to fans.
It only made $25 mil in the box office, but it puts a reasonable closure on the series  but in ways is the BEST the series has to offer. Definitely a must see!

Pity it didn't come out in Spring, before the Revenge of the Sick and the other summer drivel.

12. Right. It might have done better at another season.
Same thing with "Cinderella Man," an excellent boxing movie.

8. http://www.serenityrpg.com/
You can buy the rulebook online there. I got mine at a non chain game store - it isn't a D20 game, so I don't know if a shop like WOTC (if they still have any retail stores) would have it.

9. I expect to find it wrapped under the tree
on December 25th. If not, I *will* be out on December 26th with cash in hand.
