3. If my sis is having a bad day.... then everyone has to have one too....
It just pisses me off. It jus bums my flow. And I never see it coming. Makes me wish I never picked up the phone. Why can't everyone be cool. Uptight is so...negative. I sound like a hippie.

2. Actually, that would be my mother, especially this Christmas......
I imagine she will be a basket case this year. My grandmother passed away 2 1/2 years ago, so holidays are still rough there. Her siblings are spread out from here to Arizona and none of them can make it this year. My sister recently moved to Kansas (don't even get me started on that shit) and won't be able to make it home, and since I've been sick all week, and don't seem to be improving any, I'll probably be a no-show as well.

Yeah, a Merry fucking Christmas all around :( The goddamned Waltons, we ain't.

10. My brother, a full bird kernel, told me I didn't know what I was talking
about. This was 6 months ago. NOW, he tells my Mom I am not talking to him ANY MORE AND HE DOES NOT KNOW WHY. What did I say you ask? What could have caused such a breech? I said, "it's very sad that soldiers are being sent to war to die for a lie."

Both my brother and I would insist that we have a very moody sibling. My brother's wife could come in on either side or none. My mom claims to love us all.

My brother is a Fox watching neocon VietNam vet who thinks the problem there was we DIDN'T GET THE JOB DONE. I'm a lifelong peacenik.

Who knew?

My wife and her whole entire family are terrified of her moods. She doesn't just get mad - she gets EVIL mad.

Guess who demanded to host Christmas this year?!

17. My eldest sister
loses herself in reading and sadly weighs about 350, She is about 5'2. She has a permissive, loving and caring parenting style (left-leaning soccer mom). Despite the weight, I'd say she's pretty well grounded. Still F---cked though, cause she comes from this family. She's "literally" carrying our baggage. (4 years older then me)

My second sister Lori is like the Tasmanian Devil. She gave birth to 5 children but lost one to cancer. Courtney was only 2. Ever since then, she's been taking in foster kids. There are always 1 or 2 kids under five running around. Meanwhile the dog is barking, the cat wants to come in, the turtles need to be fed, the bird is squawking, and some Little neighbor kid is banging on the door to play w/one of the boys. Oh, and also through most of these years, she was a full time teacher. She also managed to find the time to run 5 miles a day, knit up a storm, produce prize winning embroidery for the fair and taxi all those kids around for their various sports and whatnot. Not to mention her charitable work. IYE-YI-YI  Now if that isn't nutty enough in and of itself, consider the fact thar she's a Repub who thinks we should all behave this way... Especially welfare mothers. They're lazy and crazy and eat bob-bons all day in her black and white, pea brained head. Oh and BTW this one's parenting style is like our dad's. Strict and authoritarian. (She's 3 years older then me)

I'm the third girl who had to grow up w/the Tasmanian Devil..... JC that B was f'n mean, I won't go into it but please trust me on this one...I get started and I won't stop. But my parenting style was much like my eldest sister. No spankings and daughter turned out great. But there is no doubt about it... I'm a freak too. Coming from my family, how can you not?

Finally my youngest sister Sue (6 years younger then me) Though we are close, we can't talk politics. I think she's petty much non political (or would be) if her husband wasn't influencing everything. But she lets him (a guy who can't hold a job more then 6 months and drinks their mortgage money), Tell her who to vote for. :grr: I know she spanks her kids and it's my opinion that many of their problems stem from it.

So that's it... My F'd up family......

19. That was a terrific sketch of your whole gang. I don't think the
approximation of characters you see in movies could ever be as real as the real thing... like what you just described. What a world.
