Poll question: Gambling Resort for Christmas: Good idea?
Room rates at the low-stakes gambling resort are low this weekend, so DH and I have been thinking about going away from home for the weekend - neither of us have family close and nothing better to do... . Neither of us gamble much, but we figure if we have our laptops, we'll be content to play video games if the museums are closed. The food and lodgings are reputed to be quite excellent, and everything's open for the weekend. If he didn't have to be back at work Monday, we might hop a plane to Boston or Montreal (travelocity specials), but he has to be in the office Monday morning.

We'd be going to Cripple Creek, CO, for anyone who knows the area.

Would you go?
