That's a lot more of those little things than it sounds. I've been shorting myself on vegetables and got a craving for 'em, so picked up a bunch of frozen things when I ventured out last night (coughy cold and all) to get much-needed consumables. For some reason, brussels sprouts sounded good. I ate eight ounces, took a few minutes' break, and then ate the remaining two ounces for dessert. Might be awhile before I eat them again. But I got some nutrition, at least.

Still, nothing compares to the time, 22 years ago, when I unaccountably ate 500 grams (roughly a pound, I think) of prunes in one sitting. I spent the rest of the day in a very small room, paying for that mistake. Not sure I've eaten a prune since... :o

Just as well, tonight.

Though I'm typically consuming vast quantities of beans, so I'm a little preadapted to handle the demands of this sprouts load.

Hopefully it'll fade away...I've had it reallty low-level for weeks now, the cold, and this cough is the most hurty part of the whole experience, just when I thought I was a day away from being fully restored.

I must say, your culinary choices sound a tad more exciting than mine. I might go wild with some OJ, though, soon -- top shelf stuff, with extra pulp...ooooooooooooo. :D

It'll be a miracle if I don't sound like Tom Waits when I try to sing, but I'll see how it goes. I'm unbreakable. :-)

I never understood why people don't like brussel sprouts. They're one of my favorite veggies, and they're basically mini-cabbages (they're related to cabbages).
