1. Do they have 12 year olds doing their investigative reporting?

2. Look what was on my local news last night (bad news alert)
MOUNT AIRY, Md. (AP) -- Authorities removed 117 live cats and 184 dead ones from a house near Mount Airy, the Frederick County Animal Control office said.

Officers also found three live dogs and one dead on in the two-story house on Black Ankle Road, Director Harold L. Domer Jr. said Monday.

He said investigators were trying to determine whether the owner of the property lived there or if the house was vacant.

(I saw this on the TV news tonight and it broke my heart. They said that of the surviving cats they are not sure how many will be able to be adopted out, and how many will ultimately end up being euthanized.)

4. I know!
They were showing some of the survivors and they were so friendly and cute. The shelter people said that they had been so dehydrated and hungry when they found them, and that the conditions they were living in now (in cages, two-four to a cage) were heaven compared to what they were in before. Apparently because of all the feces, urine and corpses in the house it smelled horrid. :puke:
