spend some quality time with family and firends. Have to work 11p-7a Christmas Eve but, it's all good....at least I have a job and a family....so I am thankful. Good to see you

2. The "war" is the fact that since EVERYONE is not a Christian in the...
...US of A, those 90% who are Christian, are pissed that some don't want to be. It always amazes me that 90% of the people can act like they are being persecuted.

3. Conservative fundies are trying to drum up trouble
where there's none. They think that if people say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas they're bashing Christian views of Christmas. It's just the puppet masters of the rwingers keeping people stirred up in a non-election year.

6. Certain wingnut christians are getting their undies in a twist
over businesses saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas". It is a stupid waste of energy, and media time.

8. Basically
it's bill o'reilly and pat robertson getting all pissy because people say happy holidays instead of merry christmas. They make it seem like this massive crusade, even though 99% of christians, including myself, couldn't care less about it.

in fact, i support it. get christmas away from the commercialization, and bring it back to what it started out as. A pagan winter solstice cele... well, not THAT far, but far enough that people focus on the fact that it's just a birthday party for a really nice guy.

aren't these the same people who bitch about commercialization of christmas more than anyone else?
