1. What did this poor ESPN crew do to deserve Buffalo in December?
;)

2. According to the temperature they just mentioned,
it's warmer in Buffalo right now than here in Denver. It's 12 here, 30 in Buffalo.

3. that cold in denver, eh?
I'm flying into denver in a little over a week to visit family in ft. collins. I don't mind the cold, though :) (and I hope that there's snow on the ground ...)

6. We've had about an inch of very fluffy snow today.
It's supposed to warm up at the end of next week. The mountains have had quite a bit of snow so if it's gone down here you can head west and have all you want!

11. Final: Denver 28, Buffalo 17
Broncos clinch a playoff spot, and since New England is going to knock off Indy (again), they're primed for a run to the super bowl :)

12. Wow...Did you know that in the dictionary under the word "optimist"
it says: #1 See fishwax.

The only team who can out and out beat the Colts this season are the Colts.
I love the Seahawks, they are a real deal this year, first time ever imo but I would not bet the antfarm on them in their future match-up with the Colts. (Sorry....and I've been a Cory Dillon fan since his days at college back here too).

But that aside, I'm definitely an optimist :)

I figure that it looks like the Patriots (who are pretty hot right now, and looking good after their win today) have had the colts number for the last couple of years. It looks like the Patriots will wind up the 4th seed, so the Colts will play them (assuming the Pats win the Wild Card game) in the 2nd round. My hope is that the Pats will beat the Colts (I really don't think the Colts will go undefeated) and then the Broncos will host the AFC championship game :)

Hey, it could happen :)

(and, for what it's worth, I could see the seahawks pulling off the upset if indy is resting their starters ... otherwise, bit of a challenge, that :))
