This game is sucking hours out of my life. I need a 12 step program.

4. Civ IV is much better
and probably more addictive. Unfortunately for a peacenik like myself, it's pretty hard to win a diplomatic or cultural victory - I usually go for the space race.

5. Does it run OK on a computer that's not supernew and superfast?
I think it was at Amazon where I was reading reviews about it, and a lot of folks were griping because it ran really slow.

7. My computer is fast and new
and the game runs fine, but it loads slowly and I notice the computer runs more slowly for several minutes after I've exited the game. So my guess is it would be slow on a slower, older computer.

10. Age of Empires has sucked thousands of hours out of mine since
I got it a few years ago. I am totally addicted to that game. I wouldn't mind trying a demo of Civ III.
