7. Make them a gift certificate, offering your time for
whatever service they might need. Does one of them have kids? Offer a night of babysitting. Big house to clean? Offer an afternoon of housekeeping. Yard to mow? Offer a day of yard work.
They'll bitch either way but they are more likely to see the practicality of offering a service than a present they will never use.
Why would you embark on a mission of certain failure? If they are impossible to please then why not try pissing them off? That ought to be easy enough. I suggest you just don't include them on your gift list. At least they would remember what you gave them for christmas of '05!
Well, I've been tempted to, anyway. There are a few people on my list that are always ridiculously impossible. I usually give them something baked and something involving pictures.:shrug:
