Well, that was certainly interesting.

There I was, sitting at the computer, in the dark, in my underwear (was about to put on some sleeping pants and (typically) I was distracted). Suddenly, the door gets opened, some female calls "Hello? Hello" and just traipses into the house. When they see someone is here, they ask if this is the laundry room (which is attached to this house, but I'm sure that is why they busted into a dark house). I tell them no, this isn't the laundry and they ask me if I have a telephone so they can get some white and have a place for the dealer to call. I tell them "no." That's when my wife charges out like a rhino (in attitude, not in looks) and gives them the scare of their life.

I'd just gotten home from walking the dog, which is why the door was unlocked. As to why I didn't bite their heads off, well, I was about to when my wife laid into them - but initially, when they were standing in the dark doorway with the light behind them they looked just like the apartment manager. All this happened within seconds.

Fun, fun, fun.

Edit: clarified a point.

I guess that it was a good thing, in some respects.

3. And you didn't call the cops?
There's people opening doors, looking to seek "snow" and use your phone...

And you didn't call the cops??

4. Remember, we don't have a telephone.

Besides which, they claimed to live in the apartment building that we are an annex to, so I plan on speaking to the manager in the morning. I have a good description.
