I have a little tradition with my Repub Dad

He gets me magazine subscriptions, usually 2-3 that I would like (National Geog, The Economist and New Republic) and then he throws in one Repuke rag (last year it was the American Spectator. Makes great kindling guys and gals!) I do the same, and last year got him the American Prospect.

So what mag should I get him this year?

Great publication. Completely partisan. Lol. He'll love it.

Personally, I like getting the bs rags. Can't hurt to know their talking points better than they do.

but Mother Jones or the Nation would be good choices in terms of being solidly left.
