1. My weekend did not last long enough at all .
I am hoping that it snows enough here so that its not safe to travel on the roads and I have a day off from work .

3. I have been doing alright .
I lurk on the DU - I am so out of the loop with everything that goes on the DU that I don't post anymore :) And yes I am hoping for a lot of snow - if it does , I know that it won't be a lot of snow , but I want just enough to cover the streets . Honestly , I just need some time off from work to regain some sanity :)

9. you should start posting again
it is a lot of fun again.

I remember last year in February I was in NC. I went from Charlotte to Raleigh with the car. It snowed and all the drivers were slow as hell. I could tell they weren't used to snow and never heard of winter tires.

38. they have mostly been asking for more money
since the 1920s when Gompers took over. Most Americans do not seem to know what to do with their time off anyway. I know so many retired people who get full time jobs, and people who work two or three jobs. Too many people are not even working forty hour weeks with even one job. As a nation, we cannot seem to handle leisure, nor do we seem to desire it. Not when there is money to be made.

but my house mates are snoring. If I splash around too much I'll wake them. They both have to go to work in a few hours.

So I spend my late night time quietly.

I have quite a bit of time on my hands. I enjoy playing with my computer.

A few DUers and I have become so close that I truly like to amuse them.

A little to brighten the day (or night).

36. Just a friendly reminder ...
things are not always as they seem ...

I try to find ways to pass the winter months without getting too crazy.
If I travel I pack extra stuff - like a small oil filled heater. Sometimes I even pack a coffee grinder and my coffeepot.
