1. I sympathize...
I would have enjoyed College a lot more without having to worry about grades.

7. Seconded.
Three this week. Bio wil be the pain in the ass for me, since I'm not a science person, and since it's my last one (7:30-9:30AM on Friday), I'll probably just want to get the hell out of there.

Life's going to be much better five days from now. :)

11. Oh, it's just general bio.
In all honesty, it's not that bad, just a lot of memorization. This professor has a tendency to want a lot of detail on his tests.

Thanks a lot for your offer, though. I'll definitely keep it in mind. :)

9. Good luck WindRavenX, primate1, and all other college students!
I have a Clinical Chemistry final tomorrow at 8 AM and a Parasitology/Mycology final Wednesday at 10 AM.

I am sooooo tired (working 40 hours a week + school). Except for this weekend, I have only been home between midnight and 8 AM since the beginning of June (I had a summer Blood Bank class).

I am so glad this semester is almost over!

I can't wait for it to be over either. After the sociology exam tomorrow, I'm not too worried. It's the only course this semester that I wasn't fond of. The rest I loved and don't mind studying for at all, so I'm in pretty good shape, I think. Thursday night (my last exam) can't come soon enough, though.

10. Last one tomorree at 8 AM.
Luckily it's "Fine Arts Appreciation," a bullshit course forced upon anyone desiring a degree.

And I took AP Art History in HS but it isn't good enough for University. :eyes:

13. And for those taking an online masters program!
Our professor for the current class decided to cancel the assignment due today so we would have more time to work on the final assignment due on Friday. Of course, I have a late-night gig on Friday night, and a gig at work until 9 on Thursday...and a court appearance tomorrow (just regarding a ticket) and possibly a rehearsal tomorrow as well. I've been trying to get as much of this paper done this weekend as possible, and my brain now hurts.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like everything I write sounds like the ramblings of a four-year-old, right?

Right?

18. Of course, I felt that way about my last paper...
...and I got my best grade yet in the course.

I think I need a bigger shovel for this one, although I've found some rather interesting things that I'm hoping I'll get some props for.

16. Indeed, good luck
But I think we instructors need some good vibes too. We have to grade all of those finals and final projects.

After I became an instructor, I never hounded a teacher about prompt grading again. It's the worst part of the job. I love lecturing -- grading sucks.

And then we have to deal with the students who aren't happy with their final grades.

28. best of luck,
hope all are prepared and rested, and SHINE come final time. The rested part, I know, is tough... but if one can - one does better to pull the late night several days before the big day... and then review and crash on the eve of the exam.

Granted, this advice is much easier to give, than it was to follow (think I might have finally got it {the advice} down during grad school.)

29. Good Luck, Wind Raven!
My first final is in Psycometrics.

The test is on Item Response Theory and Differential Item Functioning. It's a take home test due Tuesday night at midnight. The teacher said it shouldn't take more that three hours to complete. So far, my classmates who have done it already have spent 2 whole days on it. :(

Then I have a Multivariate Statistics exam on Thursday. :scared: That's not take home, and it is cumulative for the entire semester. I gotta know Principal Component Analysis, Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Multidimensional Scaling, the General Linear Model, Multivariate Analysis of Variance, and Discriminant Analysis.

Ok, I'm going to cry now. ;)
