(WWE) Wrestler's death linked to heart disease, autopsy shows
Associated Press
Last update: December 8, 2005 at 2:02 PM

A professional wrestler whose body was found in a Minneapolis hotel room died of natural causes related to heart disease, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner said Thursday.

Eddie Guerrero, 38, was a World Wrestling Entertainment star. His body was found on the morning of Nov. 13, after he didn't respond to a wakeup call in his hotel room.

The county medical examiner's office said Thursday that Guerrero died "of natural causes related to arteriosclerotic heart disease,'' which is another term for coronary heart disease, or a narrowing of the blood vessels that supply blood and oxygen to the heart.

The coroner's report did not speculate as to what may have led to Guerrero's heart disease.

2. R.I.P. Eddie
It probably had something to do with steroids, but that doesn't make it any less sad. Eddie was a fabulous performer and, by all accounts, a warm, funny and devoted friend, husband and father. He will be missed by all wrestling fans, but most especially by his friends, wife and daughters.

4. Well Eddie did have a very widely know drug and alcohol problem...
So that was probably a major contributing factor. Very sad indeed. He was such a great performer. Entertaining as hell, both in the ring and on the mic.
