Language is so interesting. It took me a few weeks to get used the way folks talked in New Orleans. Also, even though Maryland in below the Mason-Dixon Line (in fact it is our northern border), I was considered a Yankee.

Not surprising. I was born in Ohio and lived there until 8; moved to Colorado, lived there until 15; moved to Texas, lived there until 21; Colorado for a year, California for six, and then Alaska for the past 30 years. I guess I'm all over the map.
