Do your dreams and real life sometimes overlap?

I had a headache yesterday and took a nap hoping it would go away. IRL it felt like there was a nail in a specific part of my brain. I dreamt that part of my skull was in the garbage disposal and I turned the garbage disposal on trying to crunch it up. When I woke up it felt like it really happened.

Did you ever have something IRL continue in a dream?

1. I have asthma

And I have nightmares about being underwater and not being able to breathe and when I wake up, I'm in a full-blown attack. Scares me to death!

2. I wonder if the nightmare causes the attack or if the nightmare

is a warning to wake up.

My daughter does the same thing with sounds. The tornado sirens went off at 4 in the morning one night. I went in to wake her up and she said "you mean I'm not dreaming that the sirens are going off?"
