1. did the neighbors see you?

and WHY in the world did you do it?

3. OK, first, here, its was at 6:30 so the neighbors weren't out and about...

and second, its because the damned cat escaped the house while I was letting the dog out the back yard to do her business. The good thing is this, the yard is fenced in, for the dog, but the cat, who has NEVER been outside, respected that boundery. The bad part is this, we have a deck that is about a foot off the ground, where the hell do you think she went? I swear I was going to kill the damned cat. So anyways, I wouldn't have been so damned frantic except for the fact that she isn't fixed YET. No way in hell is she ever getting pregnant, but we aren't going to have her fixed till spring at the earliest. So I looked for my shoes, and couldn't find them at all, so I said fuck it and grabbed the flashlight and looked for her. Ran from one end of the deck to the other, trying to catch her, used cat food, and treats, she wasn't falling for either. So after I couldn't feel my toes anymore, I came inside and sat down in front of the glass door that leads to the deck. So, low and behold, she walks right up to the door, I open it, she got cornered, and now she is locked downstairs. Right now I'm trying to restore feeling to my feet.

BTW: Its less than 20 degrees here today, it was 10 yesterday, a heat wave my ass!

5. we really do all we can for our cats, don't we?

and they only allow us to catch or find them when they want to.
