Good Thursday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
I hope you've had a good nights rest! Or if you're a Nighthawk, I hope you had a good time last night! I'm doing just fine. Waking up, having some coffee and ready to get this day started! :bounce:

My cat did fine for his dental cleaning, but BOY was he mad at us when we got him home! But his teeth are all cleaned and polished now and his bad breath is all gone, which is a good thing, dont'cha know!

1. Hello Clintmax
fresh cat breath is the best thing. Enjoy it as long as it lasts

All this talk about cats and the pictures make me want a cat again. I just don't have the time and it would be unfair to the cat if I am gone over the weekends so often.

It's good to see you this morning...how is work going today?

I used to feed my dog iams.

Check the pet group for a lot of good suggestions but some good foods are, Nutro (which donates to republicans, but they have good food), Royal Canin, Wellness, some others. If you want to go the cheaper route Purina One isn't too bad, but I'm not sure if they have a hairball formula. I think they do.

edit: and Eukanuba is another Iams company, so they're no good.

42. Thanks for all the information...
I had NO idea. I've seen that Nutro in the pet store and wondered about it...in the end I dismissed it as a generic brand because I hadn't ever heard of it. I don't know which to go with now...I guess some investigating is in order.

43. Just ask at whichever pet store you go to for
recommendations. Beware, though, they are instructed to push their store's brand on you (as you can imagine :D ) which is not always that great.

33. It's just the people around.
Made worse by no caffeine until nearly 11.

There are usually 4 people in my office, plus one other in a room which leads off. Myself and two of the others are usually like the 3 witches of Macbeth, but they are both off today. When I arrived the third office-mate was chatting with the chap in the small room and somebody from another part of the office - very loudly - about accountacy exams).

I was already in mood to get grumpy because of my cold, so it just fed my morning's misanthropy.

60. Hello TJ--
I hope your caffeine dosing takes care of your headache, but it won't make your colleagues vanish. (unless you seriously doctor it)

This morning I'm like a puppy whose eyes haven't opened yet. I need to get the coffee going. I have a morning meeting and then too much to do at work. If you see me posting today, you will know that I shouldn't be!

They are promising us some ice falling from the sky later on today :scared:. We live on the fabled rain/snow line so we rarely get a beautiful fluffy snowfall. More often we get a slurry of ice pellets or rain freezing on our power lines. We have an additional rehearsal tonight for Sunday's service of Advent Lessons and Carols and I don't want the weather messing us up!

Good to see you this morning! :loveya:

65. I bet that you look adorable as a puppy.
:D :loveya:

The caffeine is working, as are the biscuits and sweets that I bought for myself ( :spank: ).

My Bach marathon is coming to an end, I'm now onto the last C.D. - I've brought in the Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle with me to cheer me up as well. Though most of it is ultra-naff trashy fun, I do think that the O salutaris is quite sublime - doubly interesting as it's not technically part of the Mass, just a common addition which was made in France.

Though I do bitch and moan about the weather, English winters are incredibly mild. If we get any more than 2 inches of snow that counts as severe, and it will probably be gone within a couple of days anyway (hurrah for living on an island, and hurrah for the Gulf Stream). Getting loads of ice is just nasty though.

Had a Siamese years ago who'd bite me on the nose to wake me up, but this beard-washing thing is new to me, too.

I asked some of the Cat People here about it. The consensus is that she's following her grooming instinct, like she'd do with her kits if she had any, and also showing me affection. :loveya:

San Diego's killing itself with bad deals. The Giants don't look to be improved much. Dunno about Arizona.

But if the Dodgers can get through the year with just half the injuries they had last year, they'll be in the playoffs. Well, if Grady Little doesn't screw 'em all up with American League junk. :eyes:

stop by and give a good morning to all.
Glad to hear that you cat survived the dent Clintmax. Ah, the things we do for our pets.
It's really cold here and I've decided to fore go my coffee until I get to work. Now I'm regretting that decision, oh well.
Wishing everyone a good Thursday!

71. Hello, Cannikin!
:hi:
Everybody is talking about all the ice they have on the ground. Just one more reason I'm glad I live in Florida. :bounce: Not that I'm bragging or anything. Good to see you today!

70. Good morning, Clintmax!
:donut: :hi:
I have the feeling I'm too late again this morning.

:woohoo: Glad the kitty did fine! What a relief! (You know me, the nervous kitty mom!)

I'm off to a late start today. Hope you have a great day!

72. Morning, Miss Airmens!
No, you're not too late! I'm still here. I close the store today so I don't have to go in until this afternoon. It's good to see you today! I think lots of people are getting late starts today. Mostly because of ice on the ground which you and I don't have to worry about. :woohoo: Do you have any big plans for the day?

76. Oh, wow, you're here!
:bounce:

No plans ... well, maybe I'll clean out the tupperware cabinet. I still have papers to go through, but I'm burned out on that. Time to tackle the kitchen clutter. First, I should have some breakfast. I'm procrastinating this morning.

How's the store holding up?

74. Hello, WildH!
:hi:
Good to see you again! My cats teeth really needed a good cleaning. That was the reason he had bad breath. But it's all fixed now.

Once you do the thumbnail thing, it will be easy to see which picture you want to upload. Let me know once you do that I'll explain how to post them in your posts!
