Hope this is allowed. I woke up with a sore throat and got worse during the day and now am sneezing my head off. It's time for NyQuil (cherry flavor) and night night.

1. Hope ya feel better soon
I had whatever is going around--lasted over a week w/ a hackin' cough that wouldn't quit. The kid got it and has a sinus infection. Many people at work were noticeably sneezing and coughing today--it's making round 2, I think.

2. Thanks...
but that's not very encouraging. I'm thinking that if I stay home tomorrow and sleep I can fight it and beat it back. Maybe I'm dreaming. NyQuil....

3. Here are some thoughts:
Lots of Vitamin C.
Soak your feet in very, very, very hot water.

My fave remedy: Locally produced, nonpasturized honey, combined with organic lemons, and rum. HOT. Yummy!

4. All the freakin' time...
I'm diabetic, so it's harder for my body to fight them, and takes them longer to go away. I've had colds that were 2-3 weeks, from the sneezing day to the dripping nose to the non-sleeping to the coughing up the lungs for a week or so. DayQuil, NyQuil, lots of hot tea, soup, Vitamin C, and sleep, when you can
