My niece's Civics teacher snapped in class today

Apparently they were discussing the Bush* adminstration. The accounts I've received from niece about the class since September have made it sound like the teacher makes every effort to be fair and balanced (though we figured which way she was leaning from the Wellstone sticker on her desk)

Anyway, midway through the discussion the teacher burst out "KARL ROVE IS THE SPAWN OF SATAN!" She recovered, told the class she was sorry, she shouldn't say things like that, then walked to the front of the classroom audibly muttering, "The man is evil, just plain evil."

My niece claims she did add to the discussion by saying "I think my aunt would agree with that."

I've always told the kids that Republicans are instruments of Satan. Nice to know they listen sometimes.

Hell, the self-assesment I took said "Moderate Depression", and I know exactly why. it's because I just can't live in this GOP Bizarro world w/o saying "WTF???" at least 100 times a day...

Now, how do I explain THAT to the sawbones?
