This Van Halen headline is surpising only because...
I thought they had split years ago. I remember back when they got together and I was so jealous of him. It seemed he had the perfect gig in life.

1. I feel so old /autocomplete
I remember them in concert. Roth, in his crotchless pants. What a great concert. Those were the days. Man, time sure flies.

Sigh.

3. yep. living the 80's was great. too bad we all age
lol. but I love the fact that they kept rocking on even after David Lee Roth. Hagar had some decent hits cranked out with them.

But it was always about the VH's.

2. I remember listening to the album
Fair Warning over and over again. Man I loved that album and argueably their best! I thought Van Hagar was okay but grew tired of it. I suppose, in retrospect, they had lost their edge. Now that Hagar is a repuke it makes it even harder to listen. Where is DLR when you need him. Too bad he and Eddie can not get along.

4. Hagar has ALWAYS been a republican
He was openly pro-reagan even before he joined VH.

17. I didn't realize it was pro Raygun
back in the day. Oh well, even then I didn't care much for the Van Hagar set up.

13. What do you mean, "now..."
Now that Hagar is a repuke it makes it even harder to listen.

Hagar was a loudmouthed wingnut long before joining Van Halen.

:puke:

18. that makes no sense
Isn't he the RED rocker?

I guess it works now, with Red states and blue states,
but before 2000, red was the color of revolution, comrade.

5. wow, that's a drag.
Mackenzie Phillips once said that one of the few things she could ever be sure of was the love between Bertinelli and Van Halen.

14. Seriously, dood
I've had a crush on Ms. Bertinelli since the first episode of "One Day at a Time," when she made the basketball team and lamented that she was the shortest player.

Ms. Romano: "Your father is tall. You. Will. Grow."

Barbara: "Yeah, with my luck, the only thing that'll grow will be my bust."

:loveya:

7. I was just listening to 1984
definitely the last good VH album
no one then matched their sheer power, energy and raw talent. Watching Van Halen then was like getting laid!
