Damn snow. Made me re-injure my back!
Several years ago I had an unfortunate incident with a room service cart that involved a trip to the emergency room (no, nothing like that Matcom!). I suffered pulled muscles across my back and chest as well as lovely bruises that lasted a very long time.

Over the course of the years I've managed to reinjure the same area twice. The latest involved shoveling snow the other day. Got home from work at 4:30 am and knew that Paul was asleep with the dogs and thought it'd be a nice surprise to have the walk done when he woke.

Ha. It's a surprise alright. Now it hurts to lift my right arm and hurts like heck to find a comfortable position to lay in.

So now it's laying on the heating pad and hoping it gets better before I go back to work tomorrow night. Otherwise it's going to be very difficult to carry trays.

Hug me. (But be gentle.)

1. I threw my back out in '02 with three women.
Since, I have neither been able to shovel nor snowblow.

2. How horrible for you....
I hope you sued them for the emotional trauma of never having the joy of shoveling!

4. Probably, but...
Paul will insist on doing it himself. I don't mind shoveling. I've done it many times since the original accident. Not sure what happened with this one. For all I know it could have been something I did at work combined with the shoveling. As they say about the licks to the center of a Tootsie Pop....the world may never know.
