Can anyone recommend a tech-dork gift for under $100?

No iPod, so no need for accessories.

I was thinking a binary clock, but I'm afraid that's too uber-dorky.

I'm not sure what anyone would do with a binary clock, so I'm the wrong person to ask about that idea.

Your best bet is to find out what he has and get an accessory based on it. You're not going to find many home-runs that he doesn't already have for under $100, unfortunately.
