Poll question: Would you rather be rich or famous?
Would you rather be filthy rich or incredibly famous? "Both" is not an option here--you must choose one or the other (and no answers of "if I were super-famous I'd be rich anyway").

2. I'm not cut out for fame, I'm too much of a homebody
I guess I could do a lot of good with more money, I certainly can't imagine spending much on myself.

7. My dear Buffy.....
I'd much rather be rich......and anonymous!

That is hard to accomplish, though......

Money usually brings fame, whether you want it or not....

8. I have absolutely no interest in being "famous."

9. Famous
I don't care anything about having much money 'cause there's not that much that I want. If I were famous (even if I were just famous for being famous) I could at least try to make the world adore my "charming" personality. haha

11. I'd rather be famous.

If you're famous, you still get to be famous after you die.

If you're rich, you're just dead.

12. Define 'rich'.
There's no way at all that I'd want to be famous - but if we're really talking super-hyper-ultra-rich then I wouldn't like that at all either (though fame would still be worse). If we're talking more about having enough money to stop working, live comfortably, travel a bit, do some volunteer work and the like then I would be very keen.

15. Money can't buy happiness
but it sure helps a lot!

I have always wanted to be famous, but truth is, if you have money and are famous, you get targeted more by con artists if you are. And plus you have to think about all those pretend friends who want to be next to you because of your money. So it's better to keep the real friends you have, have a stack of money and live, while not quite anonymously (no more so than before you had money, at least with a real perspective on life.

17. Oh by all means rich . . .
I'm a low key person anyway and hate to draw attention to myself, so the famous part is not too appealing. And . . . if I were rich, I would be able to help a lot more people than I am able to right now.
