Having 24 people for dinner-so my wife decides to redo the bathroom!
Every time we have something big going on, she decides to start a project. We're having 24 people for a formal dinner in a couple weeks and she decided she was sick of the wallpaper in the bathroom. It may get done in time, but you know how these projects go. Anyone else encounter this kind of stuff?

1. Maybe she's trying to tell you
she doesn't LIKE having 24 people for dinner.

3. Not in my own home
When I did woodworking I ran into this all the time. People having big parties/weddings/bar(t) mitzvahs would start planning too late but always insisted on things being done for the event.
