Is there a movie that belongs to Christmas for you?
I mean do you have a movie that you HAVE to watch during the Christmas time or otherwise something would be missing?

Mine is:

Three Gifts for Cinderella

It is a Czech/German production from 1975. I love this movie. Without this movie, the Christmas season isn't complete.

3. Many, But Our Obscure Favorite...
Edited on Fri Dec-02-05 08:39 AM by MarianJack
...is a little known 1967 gem called "Fitzwilly"!

Dick Van Dyke is a butler for an old woman who thinks she's filthy rich but is really broke. He and his staff are busy robbing the city blind to maintain the lifestyle and keep the lady protected. Barbara Feldon is a temp secretary who smells a rat. it was also one of Sam Waterston's earliest movies.

You'll be SHOCKED to know that they fall in love!

It wasn't a hit, so it will never be re-made, but ChicaAzul and I envision it as starring Hugh Grant & Gabrielle Union.

We have a shot to hell dubbed VHS of it, but I was able to order it from Amazon and we're eagerly awaiting delivery. It's taking forever, but worth the wait.

Thanks for a fun thread, MissHoneychurch!

13. Probably more the TV shows from my youth
No holiday movie has really stood out for me (I'm not saying Christmas in hopes of getting on O'Reilly's list!!)

However, I used to love "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" with Yukon Cornelius & the Bumble... "Rudolph's Shiny New Year" with that evil bird (Eon?) and the one with Heat & Cold Miser (Year w/o a Santa Claus?)
