I give girls massages all the time. What's the big deal?
Edited on Fri Dec-02-05 03:51 AM by JohnnyCougar
I used to at least. Now I moved to a different city and have no female friends :( But that won't last long.

I used to give all the girls I worked with massages, too. I used to work with almost all girls. They loved it, obviously. I am very good at it, and there was never anything sexual about it.

My female friend and I used to do that every time we hung out. We called it a "5 for 5" where we would trade off giving five minute massages. Of course, the massages ended up lasting for about a half hour, but it was great. Sooner or later, all of her friends were doing it with me, too.

There is nothing better than a massage to show affection without being sexual, and to reduce each other's stress levels. Honestly, I have probably given massages to about 20 different girls in the last 3 years. And I haven't had sex with one of them. I even gave my bartender a massage once at the bar.

What the hell...lighten up, y'all! It feels good. Learn to live in the moment and enjoy the small pleasures of life. Other animals are affectionate with each other all the time, and they are not constantly having sex. Humans can do this, too!

1. Your faith in human beans is encouraging.

3. it's way off too
A male dog can only have sex with a female dog when she is in heat which is about two weeks a year. Also, there is a well known tendency for male dogs to attempt it anyway. It is perhaps less well known that sex between dogs is a laborious process. Not a simple matter of wham-bam-thank you ma'am. They are actually physically stuck together for 15-30 minutes.

I am quite sure that humans are affectionate and physically affectionate with each other without constantly having sex. At least, leider, it is true in my case. However, it also seems to me that massage is a little bit too intimate to be comfortable. In the words of Raymond, the launch sequence will be intiated.

4. I guess to each their own.
I definitely don't relate massages to sex. It's just another thing you do to make others feel good, like making them laugh. I guess that's why I enjoy giving them. Because I know how good they make me feel when I get one. It's like an art.

6. You can relate massage to sex.
Tantric massage is explicitly sexual. It requires two willing partners to be effective. If someone thinks you are going to work a knot out of their neck and you go Tantric on them, someone's going to be really uncomfortable.

Therapeutic masage is not sexual at all. A good therapeutic massage will improve your flexibilty and motion as well as help remove toxins from your system. There are all manner of different therapeutic massage techniques and none of them involve sexual touching in any way.

I try to get at least one good massage from a massage therapist every month, more if I can afford it. It keeps me centered physically and mentally. Because I saw the benefits of therapeutic massage in my own life, I studied some of the different massage techniques so that I could show others how much of a benefit it is.

If you have never had a good therapeutic massage, I strongly recommend trying it. I am particularly partial to sacro-cranial massage. You would be amazed how much tension and stress builds up in the muscles in your head and neck. A half hour with a good sacro-cranial masseuse will change your life.

7. I used to get deep-tissue shiatsu massages.
I have never had anything even close to it. My masseuse moved to the twin cities area, though, and I have never had a good massage since. But getting shiatsu massages myself taught me how to do some of the techniques. If any kind of massage is about relieving stress and not being titillating, it is shiatsu.

2. you're not sleazy
If you were, girls would avoid you. Then you might end up whining that girls never accept massages from you, it's way too hard to get laid, and girls should try to be more like pets.

There was a big hulabaloo last night about someone claiming women won't let him give them a massage, and then women compalining that massages were creepy and such...

There was about 150 posts on it...I'm sure it will pop back up here soon.

Edit: Here it is -

11. " Humans can do this, too!"
LOL, you would think so. I agree with you 100% but I have realized that 99.9% of the people in this world still let their urges overpower their brains and self-control. Just a few minutes on these forums prove that.

I do my best to not talk to the opposite sex or at least keep it to a minimum. Unfortunately a few weeks ago I acted like I was going to tickle a friend's girlfriend. This woman has tickled me, grabbed me, kissed me and jumped on me. At a Halloween party she grabbed me, locked her lips on mine and tried to blow pot smoke down my throat..lol. Now, I'm not complaining but oh well. A few weeks ago I half-asses tickled her stomach. Not even enough to make he laugh, it was just that she was fucking with me. Well, she freaked out, her boyfriend freaked out and they accused me of "groping" her. :eyes: WTF? Anyone who knows me knows that is not the person I am at all.

With the exception on that one fuck-up, I leave people alone. What you said is true about humans being able to do it, the problem is... they refuse to do it. So, fuck it.

I think it's more about doing what they expect of you.
I come off as a really playful guy. If you act shy, reserved, or uninterested, and then you all of a sudden show interest, you are betraying the impression the girl already has of you. Therefore anything you do to reach out to them is met with resistance.

If you act friendly right away, then they will not only let you be friendly back, but they will expect you to be friendly. I don't mean this in a sexual way at all, either. The majority of women I interact with I don't try and score with.

I dunno if that makes any sense. I guess the lesson is you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

God, I feel like a head and shoulders commercial.

Well, off to the bars.....
