Poll question: What NFL teams do Los Angeles football fans root for?
Seeing that there are no teams in LA, haven't been for 12 years.
Do you go for the Rams, formerly of LA?
The Raiders?
The Chargers. Only NFL team in SoCal?
Niners?

1. Apparently the Raiders
We were in the LA and Orange County area last week, and they still have Raider sports talk shows on the local TV and radio.

2. They will be in San Diego this sunday.
I will be at that game. A Kevlar vest may be handy when the Raiders come to town.

3. A kevlar vest is the minimum requirement
You may want to have a Glock handy!

5. There have been stabbings, beatings and shootings after Charger-Raider...
game over that past 30 years or so. People have died! They even stopped serving alcohol for that game only, for a couple of years.
It gets ugly in the "Q" when the Raiders come to town..

8. I know...
It is kind of like Giants Dodger games. Gritty rivalry!

11. You talkin' Giants-Dodgers in LA
or SF?

You wear Blue to a game in SF, you take your life in your hands.

Wear orange and black to Chavez Ravine, people tell you, "I don't agree with your choice of teams, but I respect your right to support any team you wish. Peace, dude; would you like a wine cooler? WHOAAA! BEACH BAAAAALLLL!!"

4. LA's NBC affiliate covered last Sunday's Raiders' game BEFORE the
Chargers' game.

The Raiders lost -- at home. The Chargers won -- away.

The Raiders are ten hours away from LA; the Chargers, two.

LA fans are so fucking classless it boggles the mind.

6. UI don't live there now, but I grew up in LA and watched both teams leave.
And I never rooted for the stinkin' Rams at the time. Just the Raiders... then, I moved to Missouri, and the Rams followed me here like a little lost puppy. I couldn't help but cheer for them after that.

10. The transplants and bandwaggoneers used to root for the Lakers
but since the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are doing much better this year I think they root for them....mmmm no they all act like they are big college football fans and root for USC. Wait a few years they will find some other football team to root for.

13. The Chargers
There are too many dumbasses who didn't get the memo that the Raiders left town YEARS ago. The Chargers (who were in L.A. first, back in 1960 when they were one of the AFL charter teams) could very well return here.

The gangsta wannabe Raider fans can have them. Fuck the Raiders and their pansy face-painting fans.

And for the record folks, no one in L.A. thinks of the Angels as an L.A. team. They are still the Anaheim Angels of Orange County, and appropriately, wear red uniforms. It's DODGER BLUE here in El Lay. And yes, many of us are openly antagonistic toward Giants fans. ;-)

Also, with no moronic crosstown rivalries, most Laker fans have never had a problem with the Clippers, and are glad one of the teams is doing well. :P

USC and UCLA have lots of alumni and loyal, local fans.
