2. Yes, but only because I actually forgot. It doesn't interest me that much
and I seem to have a hard time remembering.

5. Yeah. I was 15, and I told a guy I was 16.
What possessed me to do that, I don't know.

I saw the same guy, same place, a year later - and he commented I must be 17. That's when I told him the truth.

so trying to pass as 21 is a lost cause. and I have no reason to pretend I'm younger than I am.

11. Yes, when I was a teen I bumped the age up on my profile
to minimize the number of pervs trying to pick up on me in chat rooms. (Yep, they had the internets when I was a teenager. I'm a youngin.)

22. I stopped keeping track of my age
to be honest. Frankly, outside of a doctor's appnt. I am always so surprised when someone inquires about my age. I consider it the pinnacle of rude behavior.

I only think age is relevant if one is referring to wine or cheese, not people.

26. Sort of.
I always give my age as '19 and a few months' which is technically true (the number of months being between 20 and 100) but not exactly unmisleading (forgive the neologism combined with double-negative).

I also bought alcohol before I was 18 - arguably I posed as being older than I was. I was never asked for proof and thus never had to lie.

29. Yes.
I've said I'm older, I've said I'm younger. I don't really look my age.

I actually have to sit and think and do the math to figure out how old I am. And, frankly, I don't fuckin' care.

Tori Amos once said "The maps of our lives are written on our bodies". What a wonderful way to look at age.

My hair and my beard are going white - and I don't see that as a bad thing. I fucking earned it! Every white hair, every wrinkle (I don't have any yet but I will) is a medal of honour.

The map of my life is written on my body - and that's a wonderful thing.

Khash.

besides no one would believe me anyway LMAO.
I usually say that i am 25/26 and that tends to throw em off just a bit
LOL i think it is because they have a hard time figuring out the math to it.

46. I've avoided telling it in a job interview
The owner interviewed me after I went through a bunch of previous interviews. He was sneaky -

"when did you graduate?"
"the eighties".
"oh, I knew someone who was there in 1988, were you there then?"
"it's a huge school - the chance that I know anyone is pretty small"

He was clearly frustrated. I know he wanted someone young for the job, and he wanted to be sure I wasn't over 40. He also knew he couldn't ask me outright, and I didn't feel like helping him out any.

Didn't get the job, but didn't want to move to Westport Connecticut, either.
