So how was your Thanksgiving weekend?
Edited on Sun Nov-27-05 03:53 PM by Err
Mine was good. My grandma and her nephew came up and we had a lot to eat. It was nice seeing grandma. I only get to see her about once a year. I didn't go shopping Friday. I did see the idiots on the news who were fighting at Wal-Mart over some computers that were on sale.

I just got back to school about an hour ago and I'll be hittin' the books within the next hour or two. I had to come back early because I heard there's a snowstorm heading towards Minnesota and it's expected to drop 6-9" of snow. Yikes!

It's just too bad the holiday wasn't longer. I needed the break. Oh well. Christmas break is coming in three weeks and then I'll be on break for a month. :)

So how was your weekend? :hi:

1. Welcome back!
It was quite a normal weekend here (since we don't have Thanksgiving), with the first snowfall this year.

2. Thanks. :-)
First snowfall, eh? We're expected to get one tomorrow and it's going to drop about 6-9 inches of snow. :scared:

4. Hardly covered the ground here,
but temps are below Zero (30° Fahrenheit), and the snow turned into ice all over.
Oh, and I put up my Christmas lights. ;)

6. I've had my Christmas lights up since November 1st.
I always get in the Christmas spirit right after Halloween. :)

8. And I thought I was early,
since no one else has it up yet; not even my Christmas-Illumination-Crazy neighbor. He tends to define colored party lights as Christmas lights, too. :eyes:

3. Hectic the first half, then very laid back the second half
Inlaws stayed with us Wednesday night through Saturday morning. Had dinner here Thursday with the inlaws, my daughter and her boyfriend, and then my brother-in-law and his wife came for dessert.

All was quiet by Saturday morning, though. Watched a bunch of movies Saturday, did some "work" work, and today is kick back and watch the Seahawks.

All in all, not bad.

5. Nice.
Sounds like you had a good Thanksgiving. :)

I'm watching the Vikings right now. They're kicking ass, but look who they're playing (Cleveland).

7. It's been fine.
I've worked every day except Thursday, but the customers have been friendly and business has been good so far. I turned my Christmas lights on last night and my house looks cute. :D

9. I'm in physical pain, my ex is a jerk and I'm skipping Thanksgiving
with the family next year.

Other than that, it was fine. At least I got pie out of it. :D
