So, I brought some nice loose leaf teas to college with me
that I bought over Thanksgiving break. How long until I get busted for "drugs." That peppermint looks mighty suspicious

3. Let's see
I have some Japanese Sencha from Fortunes, 4 oz of peppermint (which smells wonderful!) from a local spice store that I can either mix with other teas or use alone, and some Longjing Cha green tea from a brand I cannot read because I don't read Chinese.

4. Here is a tea link for you Rabrrr
www.BARNESandWatson.com

I am especially fond of their "Tahitian Blend". I discovered this nectar of the gods at a local restaurant. I pressed them for the source of that and they turned me onto this link. Barnes and Watson will ship their teas to you.
I hope you get the chance to sample their wares. My assessments of that Tahitian blend are not exaggerated. That tea is incomparable.

10. Thanks for the link!
I get most of my tea either in Kyoto at the most amazing green tea store ever, or from TenRen tea (http://www.tenren.com) which has the most amazing Taiwanese teas you will find anywhere, even in Taiwan (since it's a Taiwan company), though I also have some really good stuff from some tea store in the Mall of America.

5. My mom gave me a baggie of baking soda
For brushing my teeth (she thought they were too yellow).

Anyway, I am driving back to college with the baggie on top of an open overnight bag on the seat next to me.

About an hour into the trip I look over and realize if I get pulled over I am going to jail until the stuff finally gets tested. I closed my bag.

7. I was going to bring my mom some oregano
home from Greece, since I know that she likes real Greek oregano, but then I realized it wasn't such a great idea since they sell it in regular zip-lock bags with hand-written labels and I was flying back through Amsterdam.

"It says 'oregano'! Honest! Can't you read Greek!?"

9. my husband loves a local veg. rest. that offered a lot of teas -
when I looked at all the containers and some he brought home, it was very hard not to picture bags of other types of herb. ;)
