Quite a bit. If you haven't seen "Sweet Home Alabama" yet, give a look. Nice movie and a good look at your home. :-)

4. "Sweet Home Alabama"
is one of those rare Hollywood comedies that takes place in Alabama (mostly) or the Deep South in general, and pulls out all of the old stereotypes but manages to do it without leaving the impression that stereotypes are all there is to see here. It is really a delightful little movie, IMHO. Every character in the fictional (but in many ways true to life) little Alabama town in that movie is a larger-than-life stereotype - yet shows some genuine likability and humanity at some point in the movie.

3. I'm watching it.
I've always liked this movie - it gives the viewers a small glimpse of the struggles of the time.

I usually don't like Melanie Griffin movies, I this is one of my favorite characters.

6. Funny thing about "Alabama" movies.
"My Cousin Vinny" (which I think is a total hoot) is set in Alabama.
It was shot in Mississippi.

What?
Didn't Alabama look enough like Alabama for them?
