Now you only have to write the other 7,999 sentences and you're there.

What could be easier?

(Yes, I started a novel in 1977. No, it's not finished. But I do have a title, a first sentence, and a couple thousand other sentences, at least.)

I turned in the direction of the sound and saw the manager trainee that was sitting in on the interview reduced to a pile of red goo by a child holding a noiseless chainsaw.
