Stupid Kodak commercial made me cry
That damned, "Listen to the pictures. They're saying 'Keep me, share me..."

Shut up you damn pictures!

The shot of the older man looking at an old picture of his wife, which for some reason makes me think she's not around any more, just has me in hysterics right now.

What kind of a dork cries at damn commercials.

Maybe it's the holidays, and the fact that neither of my parents are around anymore. But dang...

1. Those commercials get to me too...
probably because all of my pictures are very precious to me, especially the older ones.

5. Oh, I've done that too
I'm such an all-day sucker.

The one about Data's daughter Lal did that more than once.

I also cried when Archie lost Edith, and when Col. Blake died on Mash.

Good, I'm not the only softie.

6. What kind of dork?
Why, a caring, compassionate one, of course.

Why on earth would you be upset about being emotionally touched by something? For heavens sake, dear, just think of the opposite. You could be the blivet or darth cheney, or just about any repuke, for that matter.

I say, go ahead and cry... those of us who love our country certainly have had our share of tears.

Go ahead and cry - it's what REAL compassion is all about. :patriot:

7. Me too
I saw it for the first time today, I thought it was a fantastic commercial.

I cry over plenty of commericals. I revel in my dorkiness.

8. I've always resented such cheap exploitation of my emotions
But no, it doesn't make you a dork. It makes you human. And ad agencies that manipulate your emotions like that are scum.

9. I've been known to cry over commercials
And movies, tv shows, songs, DU posts, books, magazine articles. So, I'm sappy at times .
