Remind me again why I have cats
Bud peed on the bed today. Mindy wiped her butt on the tablecloth. Wilma is obsessed with kneading and chewing my sweater. Matilda dumped her drinking water on the kitchen floor. Tennessee has a sore paw and bit me when I tried to look at it (he's going to the vet in the morning). Sophie keeps trying to walk across my keyboard.

6. Spinbaby, you're a very kind soul :)
I hear you. We have 6 indoors, one semi-feral in the garage until we can get her spayed, and are caring for 7 ferals outside.

People think we have all these kitties by choice! In reality, situations just come about where a kitty needs a home and here they end up :)

Thank you for taking in those kitties, you're a very kind soul :)

7. I haven't the faintest idea
Nor do I know why I put up with my furball but I do know the place would be very empty without him.

8. Ask rather why your cats have you.
You are not in charge. You bear responsibility without authority.

Them's the breaks.

9. Well, perhaps if you stop thinking that *you*
have cats, then things might change. Do you not realize that THEY have you? I also have 6 of them and most for the same reasons--they needed a secure home. You are a good person. Bud you might want to take to the vet. Its very strange for a can to pee in a bed if they have a litter box.

11. Bud's been to the vet
As near as we can tell, he's marking territory--he tends to pee wherever our other (and much younger) male cat sleeps.
