THANKS, Loungies!!
Christian really enjoyed meeting you. All of the responses in that thread were his own (ok, he had SOME coaching).

I think the best part was they way you all welcomed him. That's how we're going to win over our country - one kid at a time.

I couldn't be prouder of you all!!! :grouphug:

3. The really cool thing is that he & I are so much alike.
Whenever we go out to eat, the wait-staff all presume I am his mom. :)

10. Nope, still Aunt Ruth here...
but Sarah is helping me pick out smileys for you.

That's what she just did for you on the last post. And I swear I did not coach her. She picked out the smileys that she really likes.

From Sarah: What do you think? What smileys should I pick?

13. Shari, it's all cool.
I kinda got stuck entertaining the kids. Christian is my 12yr old nephew, and Sarah is his 6 yr old sister. Brother's Spawn. They turned out better than he did. (although Sarah really can be a beast. She is also quite the drama queen, and is squirming to try to read what I write.

As I was writing, Sarah insisted that she gets to pick out the smileys. Oy.

14. Whew!
You were just killing me for a minute there! That was the first I'd heard of Sarah...

Sarah should meet my six-year-old drama queen who likes to pick out smileys and read what I write here, too!

17. you may be in the same generation, but
it ain't X. Xers are 20-45, like myself. I am either one of the oldest Xers or one of the youngest boomers. You and he are generation Y or perhaps generation xbox, which is fitting in two ways, not only because of the computer graphics and stuff they are growing up with, but because when X turns 55 and 65 the young 'uns are probably going to beat the crap out of us - "no money for retirement, get back to work you lazy old fats." (nb - Boston accent here) They will box generation X.
