Hmmm... "Tremors" is on AMC - is this movie worth watching?
The plot sounds goofy... "Four big worms with multiple tongues dig high-speed around people in the middle of nowhere".

Yet it got very good reviews and is played on TV all the time.

Ooo - Fred Ward - I love him!

Anyone else watching?

8. Hey there!
Are you watching? They just did "rock, paper, scissors" to see who had to climb the tower to get Edgar down. Whoever the hell Edgar is.

Oh dear, Edgar appears to be dead!

3. it's pretty fun.
Very campy. A real "homage" to the creature features of the Fifties.

It's always playing on late-night TV up here.

I was just not inclined to point that out, as I have no interest WHATSOEVER in good-looking, witty and intelligent men.

Really I don't.

33. All join me in a toast to exceptions, then.
Our Thanksgiving was, for the first time in five years, quiet. Just us and the boys, without the plague of locusts that the Irish side of my family resembles. (Just joking; we do really like to have company for Thanksgiving.)

But it was nice to have a quiet day; I've been working way too much lately and needed the break.

How did the day go for you and yours? Well, I hope.

Poor lady, trapped in her station wagon but the goofy looking giant worm. But look! There is a gas can in the car with her. Pretty safe bet that item will reappear later in the movie, right?

The worms are as scary as the ones in Dune. The dialog and scenes are hokey. Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon --- you MUST watch.
