the temperature in south florida currently is 53 degrees ...
and, although i am not a fan of cold/cooler temperatures ... this dip in temperature is a welcome change in the light of the the last two hurricane seasons and, the forecast of more hurricans to come which are fueled by hot weather and warm waters.

1. 33F here in Southern MD, and we just got our first snow of the season
Only an inch , but as far as I'm concerned I'd be happy if it stayed that way for the rest of the winter.

3. Yeah, I don't tolerate cold well at all
Anything below 50 is unpleasant for me, and below 40 is torture. Between losing weight and having developed hypothyroidism, I've become more and more intolerant of cold over the years. I grew up in New England and used to be able to go out in the arctic cold with a light jacket and one layer. Now I'm wearing three layers under a heavy coat and still shivering in somewhat higher temps. Bah.

4. alright, here, i send you some of this 53 degrees weather.
:)
and...was it hard to lose the weight? i too have to lose weight and for years that has been a losing proposition for me. this time around i seriously have got to lose the weight. i am considering joining a medical weight loss program (not the gastric bypass kind) but one which sounds like that old Opti-Fast program and is monitored by a group of doctors.

5. I went on Topamax for my intractable migraines
One possible side effect of Topamax is temporary appetite loss (usually until the patient has lost about 38% of their initial body weight). I had zero appetite for about six months, and lost roughly 74lbs. Unfortunatly I've gained a bit back since the suppressant effects of the medication wore off. I need to get control of my junk-food/grazing habit. :-(

7. i know a whole lot 'bout junk food grazing habits: i love cheetohs and
tostitos and doritos and all that sort of thing i should not be laying my hands on. in the last two months i've managed to lose 37 lbs...but i still have to lose a whole lot more but with this here thanksgiving coming along, and then christmas, and then the cold weather which ususally opens up my hunger ... i wish us good luck in staying the course away from all these divinely course of fast foods!

9. Thanks
Of course there's no hope for the next few days, with the feast and leftovers. Maybe next week will bring hope for a good beginning...

10. 53 degrees is too warm for me.
Give me 40 degrees and sunny with no wind. I moved from South Florida to North Georgia because I was sick and tired of year-round summer. At least, here in Georgia we have seasons.
