I have a test in Advanced Mathematics for Engineers today
the test is at 3:30. Should I spend the rest of my work day studying for the test or should I actually do the work that I am getting paid to do. I work in an office so studying is very possible for me to do.

1. I found it useless...
to study the day of the test. I wanted to understand and retain, not just learn for the test and forget it. So the day of the test I would trade jokes with fellow students. That helped more than anything.

2. actually it makes me feel good
to do a few problems from the book that I can look up the answers in the back. I like to be able to do a few problems and see that I got the right answer so that I can go in to the test knowing that I do the problems right. Call it a small confidence builder. It helps a little bit by calming the nerves a bit.
