Seriously, if you can't get out of it try to make the best of it. It sucks for sure, but it's only once a year. Whenever some boob spouts off Rethuglican BS you can always counter with your own opinion--or if that would get your hubby in trouble you could instead excuse yourself to the powder room. They'd just think you had an exceptionally weak bladder.

Afterward, you could make your hubby pay you back in some way. :evilgrin:
