6. The breast.
The meatiest, juciest, biggest chunk of meat on a chicken.

Mmmmm...and so many different ways to cook it...

8. NONE
bletch yuck, pukey, dirt birds, arrgghhhh, birds that eat shit yuk yuk, :puke::puke::puke::puke:

Twice or three times a week growing up, we had chicken, sometimes boiled, sometimes pan fried, maybe oven baked, all the time awful because my Mom sucked at cooking. She never put seasoning on ANYTHING, because she couldn't taste anything. Even meatloaf sucked.

God, I simply HATE chicken.

Thanks for letting me share that. I'll have me a glass of kitten to calm down now.

16. I don't like chicken either.
I got the flu around Thanksgiving once when I was little and the smell of turkey got tied to nausea in my still-forming brain. Soon this revulsion expanded to include all poultry, especially chicken.

Strangely enough, I can now eat white-meat turkey on Thanksgiving and enjoy it (it helps when it's free-range for some reason), but I still don't like chicken at all. It tastes very, very bad.

Whenever I hear those stats about how many pounds of chicken the average American eats per year, I wonder who's eating twice as much to make up for me not eating any.

11. The last piece of chicken I just ate was the best.
I can tell you that for certain each and every time. Before I ate it I was hungry; afterwards I was not. I was better off each time eating whatever part of chicken it was that was mashed into that chicken patty. Could be part wing, part breast, part thigh, part I don't want to know about, part non-chicken.

12. Thighs are tastier.
And they happen to be cheaper too. But it doesn't matter. I can make almost any piece of chicken taste good.

It is my gift...It is my curse.

Buck-aawwwk!

13. Keel bone
which, I suppose, qualifies as breast, but it is so much more meat and flavor for the money.

15. Thighs
though I've noticed in the past few years the thigh meat isn't as dark as it used to be. Are they breeding them that way?
