3. Short for "only single numbers allowed."
Seriously, that's what it says in my Sudoku book. I bought it a week or so ago, and it's addictive as hell.

4. I've been playing it since about 4:30 this morning...with short
breaks to allow for getting kids off for school. :hi:

The first time I tried it very recently, it took me two hours (!) to finish one. Now my quickest time is 20 minutes. The book I got has 150 puzzles of varying difficulty, so it should keep me entertained on the plane when I go on vacation in January. :hi:

6. I'm playing the internet version set on medium difficulty.
Where are you going in January? I think I'm taking MrG to Vegas in January as a Christmas gift. :hi:

I'll also be checking out apartments in NYC in anticipation of my move there next summer. :hi:

10. I can't do on-line ones
It has to be on paper so that I can annotate. The newspaper here has 2 per day - one is a competition one which is "moderate" difficulty, the other gets harder during the week starting with gentle and moving to diabolical on Friday.

and am hooked. My favorite newspaper puzzle is the world jumble. :hi:

12. I have more problems with the easier ones.
Go figure. But they are addictive. I'm jonesin' on Sundays because there's not one in the paper. :dunce:
