Video games and the Golden Girls just shouldn't go together.

I just saw a video game commercial use the theme song from the Golden Girls. I think I'm officially scared now.

How the hell did that commercial get made? Was there nobody involved in making or marketing the game who said you people are morans if you think using the Golden Girls theme to sell a rated T13 game about aliens is the worst ad idea ever?

As we all know, college kids are a huge market for video games, and it's my understanding that "Golden Girls" is a cult classic on college campuses lately.

I would never have guessed that. I graduated from college just two years ago and am now a grad student and I never noticed that. However, I do happen to like the Golden Girls, so it might be true.

9. I remember several females who watched it when I was in college

not too long ago but this was about as appropriate as if they played The Price is Right theme song while CJ from GTA was killing a hooker.
