3. I've never seen it live...
But I've watched many of them on TV. I especially liked the crossing trampolines with so many people passing each other so fast! I was fairly impressed! You can't hardly get tickets I understand. They're ALWAYS sold out.

2. Love it!
And their music live is quite good. I saw the Quidam performance years ago and would love to see them again.

5. The Cirque has put out a remix album
of some of their best songs which is great. There are some remixes by well known producers and D-Jays such as DJ Tiesto.

7. They are pretty fucking unbelievable
The clowning around usually leaves me cold... but the things they can do with their bodies is inspirational. And they work really hard. Fists in the air and respect is due.

Khash.

8. I don't love them, but they are amazing.
I can take or leave those kind of acrobatic shows, but they are stunning and the music adds a lot.

It does feel slightly "New Agey" to me, but that doesn't distract from my enjoyment or not.

9. I LOVE THEM!
Edited on Sun Nov-20-05 11:14 AM by supernova
They came to Raleigh a couple of years ago and sold out.... for three weeks solid!

I wish they would come back! I'd love to see them again. I love the acrobatics, the music is just soaring, The humor is very French er... Quebequois, at any rate.

edit: "Draleon" is the show we saw

10. Saw the "O" show in Vegas!
This show had an on-stage water ballet in it! Worth every cent of the $125.00 ticket price. I was lucky to be an actual ticket holder (ordered online before I got to Vegas!), and not waiting in that mile-long "wait-list" line outside the theatre. Man, I felt sorry for them! ;)

11. "O" is in a league of its own
I agree that it's worth the price of admission. It's a phenomenal production.

i prob. wouldn't pay for tix but i saw "o" and that one at treasure island, what's the name, in vip seating, and i'm glad i can say i been there, done that

wouldn't wait in a line to do it tho or pay $125-plus per ticket, wow!

15. They ARE a circus
Edited on Sun Nov-20-05 11:58 AM by GirlinContempt
Circus:
1 a : a large arena enclosed by tiers of seats on three or all four sides and used especially for sports or spectacles (as athletic contests, exhibitions of horsemanship, or in ancient times chariot racing) b : a public spectacle

Just not a Ringling Bros. style ;)

17. I don't mind that it's new agey
But I don't feel that it's the kind of thing I have to see every time they come to town either. I think that they excel at what they do.
