it was finalized on Jan. 19, 2001, the day before * was inaugurated! The end of one tragic period of my life, and the start of a whole new one! :mad:

Second one is going on 8 years marriage free and I couldn't be happier. I won't make that mistake again (shouldn't have done it the 2nd time, but live and learn).

But, she filed for divorce in Sept of '99, so I really think that is more the date.

But it was just one of those things that happened. We've never stopped being in love... but times change, people change. It was the right thing to do. In fact, I gave her away at her next wedding. (Wait, the wedding took place before the divorce...)
