1. You know what?
You give a bandgeek a word. Any normal word. Any word at all.

And we turn it into something really, REALLY, REALLY wrong!

Now I have a mental image stuck in my head. I'm charging you for the mental windex used.

:grr:

nah. I love ya.

:)

3. Only lawyers use that word
as far as I know. As in expunging a criminal record.
Another word only lawyers use: redact. It means to remove something from a document, such as by blacking it out.

8. I redact things all the time in my job as a real estate appraiser...

9. Really!
I'm a lawyer and nobody I ever met outside of the profession ever heard of the word. If I use it inadvertently and a person looks confused, I immediately substitute "edit out" for "redact." :hi:

4. I think there's a lot of people who would like to "Expunge"
their past and forget about it or keep others in the dark about it.
