3. don't be hyper-critical
i think a lot of people are unhappy because they are not the perfect weight or can't afford the perfect clothes or their partner has a personality flaw or, horrors, they might have a personality flaw themselves

if you just shrug it off and realize that nobody is perfect, you'll be able to kick back and enjoy a lot more of life in my opinion

if every meal has to foie gras and perfectly prepared medium rare filet mignon, then life gets to be fairly high maintenance in a hurry
