It is sort of lateral but she gets a raise and it IS Management (with no more hours) and......... wait for it......SHE GETS HER OWN OFFICE!!!!!

She has never ever had an office. I on the other hand have ALWAYS had an office (every job since I finished college). This has been a running joke between us, every job I have had I call her up from my office and I get the "You SUCK!!" coming from the other line.
