I need to go to hellmart tonight. But I already have my...
Tinkerbell pajamas on. Should I just throw on my slippers and go to hellmart like this?

I need an ink cartridge badly. That means I'll have to walk all the way across the store in my PJs.

Do you think anyone will notice? Should I put my hair in foam rollers, just for appropriate accent?

:D

4. Wallyworld don't care too much what their customers look like.
Just as long as you're not showing stuff you're not normally supposed to show they might gawp a bit but who cares?

And will likely comport yourself more professionally as well.

Yeah, I should fit right in. :hi:

You might get lucky in the automotive department, one never knows. ;-)

Is it cold up your way? We are supposed to have a light freeze tonight. Damn if it wasn't 80 plus yesterday.

It's cold cold cold! I haven't turned the heater on yet, but I've been outside making sure my outside animals have shelter. The ducks are running around like it's the end of the world.

It's really cold...it's supposed to freeze here, too. :brrrr:

21. Seriously, be VERY careful with your heater.
Didn't you tell me that it's electric? If so, not as much of a worry. But if it's propane or gas, be VERY careful and get a carbon monoxide alarm tomorrow.

25. The carbon monoxide alarm came with the place.
As a matter of fact, it sounded last night, when the power went out during the thunderstorms and winds we had.

I'm using the electric heater. I haven't been able to get the propane heater to work without making all of my alarms go off.

I'll be very careful and you do the same at hellmart! :smoke:

thanks  :loveya:

Guaranteed to get any purloined items (like a Sheena Easton CD) through the burgular alarm at the exit of Hellmart. And you can put the guy in electronics in bondage, so he can't sound the alarm. :D

36. Trust me. I'm not staying in this climate forever.
Yesterday was crappy, but now things are cleared off and it's ok getting around. I don't mind the cold as long as the winds stay down. But I would loooooooooooooooove to be in a part of the country where you have warmer weather, year 'round. I can see why people want to live in the South. :)

42. Truly, there are only a couple of bad things about the south:
Mosquitos and religious zealots (most of whom vote republican).

Other than that, I love the South.

48. Well, we've got the skeeters here too.
Yeah I thought the religious zealots were a strictly southern thing. After church my dad would turn on the Old Time Gospel Hour and listen to Jerry. I heard him in his drawl and thought what a relief that I didn't live where he was. Then I went to college and had my eyes opened with all the conservative fundies running around, organizing into groups like Campus Crusade for Christ and others.

Every time I've been in the south I've fallen in love with it.

47. On my son's first day of kindergarten....
way back in 1995, one mother showed up in a housecoat over her PJs, and slippers, and a roller. Her kid was excited to be at his first day of school, and she slapped him in the back of the head and told him, "Shut up, MFer!"

Come to think of it, she's my role model. Maybe I need to take MMjr with me, and I can beat him in his head and tell him to go get the malt liquor for me! And we can go at, like, 3AM--that way, I can be a fashion icon AND a cool mom!
