We are under a tornado watch
Scary. The weather guys come on and talk about it every five minutes. :scared: :scared: :scared: 100 mile an hour winds 1 and 1/2 inch hail and tornado's spotted in southern Indiana. :hide: :yoiks: Coming this way. Maybe it will just calm down and go away.

3. Keep the TV on.
We had a tornado warning a year ago and a funnel was in the sky at the end of the street, four houses away. Thankfully, it never touched ground, but we were sheltered just in case.

Be safe.

7. Thanks, I used to live in a place that didn't have these
so I am very inexperienced with bad weather. I wouldn't worry except that the sky looks so weird this time.

10. Coming from CT, they were a very rude awakening for me as well.
I always leave a window open so I can hear the chug, chug, chug, sound just in case.

And as big an asshole as the weatherman is here, that pinpoint doppler that shows you which street it is headed for is awesome.

Cincinnati. It looks like a big mess for for Indiana and Kentucky as well. I am a bit more anxious about this watch but I can't say why.

19. OK
It seems that some of the activity has lessoned so maybe it won't do any more damage. What truly intense and freaky weather we have had. Now they are predicting snow flurries after the storm passes tonight.

27. I'm okay, it's a little weird because
this is my first tornado watch in a place that could actually get a tornado (I'm from southwestern PA... only one tornado there that I can remember). But I'm not too worried, I know they have sirens incase it gets dangerous (... and they certainly work, since they test them early saturday mornings...)
